the checklist for the perfect life

Comparison. What a low life dirty thief. It's true. And you know what is the fuel for comparison?

Our silence. Our facade that our lives are perfect but dying behind the mask.

I honestly believe there's a need with our generation for authenticity. And being authentic means being real. Not being afraid to say, "you know what, I don't have it all together."

You get a group of women together and we are all constantly comparing our life to each of those around us. Take a look on any social media outlet with perfectly decorated homes and the look of a life most desirable. But if you look just outside the frame of that picture they've posted, chances are there's a huge laundry pile or a sink full of dishes.

Truth is - none of us really have it all together. Every single one of us have some sort of struggle. Yet we keep a check list of all the things we need for our lives to be perfect and we continue striving after checking the boxes. But what we end up being is a Stepford Wife with absolutely no authenticity to us instead of the beautiful, unique individual that God created us each to be.

Stepford WivesSweet sister, you were not created to fit the mold of your checklist. You were created with a divine purpose by a Divine God. Every struggle we have is an opportunity to help someone else....even if you don't have it all together.

Women live too much of their lives feeling isolated by their inner struggles (marriage issues, kid issues, job issues, you name it) instead of admitting they are struggling in an area and allowing other ladies to surround you and love you through it.

You are more than a Stepford Wife.

You are a daughter of the Most High King that loves you more than you could fathom.

You are a match waiting to be lit to set the world on fire.

Even if you feel like you're in the darkest of dark, all it takes is a spark to light the darkness.

Be real. Open up. Stop trying to face this world alone.Embrace the YOU that God created you to be and set your world on fire darling.
